Grundfos selected for workplace honor
September 26th, 2008One of the fastest-growing companies in the Kansas City metro area is also one of the best places to work, according to their employees. Grundfos Pumps Corp., a leading global manufacturer of pumps and pumping systems, was selected as one of the top ten “Best Places to Work” by the Kansas City Business Journal in their category of medium-sized companies. Grundfos Pumps is located in Olathe, Kan., and currently employs just over 180 personnel locally.
“We’re excited and honored to be considered as a finalist for this award. I think that it says a great deal about all of our employees and the energy they put into making Grundfos a great company. I am humbled each and every day by the enthusiasm and commitment I see from them,” said Bob Parks, human resources manager for Grundfos Pumps.
The program, in its eighth year, recognizes small, medium and large companies that provide good workplaces based on their employees’ evaluations. The Kansas City Business Journal contracts with Wichita-based Quantum Market Research to administer the Web-based survey and tabulate results. Finalists will be recognized in a special section of the newspaper on October 3.
