Tankless water heater Takagi announced recently the launch of the T-K3. At 13.8 inches wide and weighing only 40 pounds, it can actually be recessed between two wall studs, making it virtually unnoticeable and saving consumers even more space than its predecessors. Another distinct feature of the T-K3 is its ability to provide an unlimited supply of hot water continuously because there is no storage tank to heat and reheat. It has a maximum flow rate of 7.0 gallons per minute and up to four units can be connected together without the need of an additional control box. With a thermal rating of 85% for liquid propane and 82% for natural gas, the T-K3 is extremely efficient and environmentally friendly.

Stud reel and fast packs Watts Regulator Company is pleased to introduce it's new WaterPEX Stud Reels and Fast Packs that make transporting PEX tubing a snap. Watts Stud Reels are uniquely designed for fast, kink-free home-run PEX pipe installations and come coiled around a heavy-duty HDPE plastic reel designed to be mounted between two wooden or steel construction studs. They are available in 3/8" and 1/2" sizes in 300 ft. lengths. Fast Packs are 10 ft. pre-cut lengths of PEX piping and packaged in a convenient, easy to carry, heavy-duty plastic sheathe. Watts Fast Packs are made to fit easily into the bed of a pick-up truck or service van and do not require two people to load or unload.
